BAPTISM
Parents who wish to have their infants or young children baptized,
must be registered and active members of the parish. They prepare to
celebrate the sacrament in two sessions, usually held the first and
second Sunday morning of every month. The sacrament is usually
celebrated the third and fourth Sunday of the month. We encourage
parents-to-be to attend classes prior to the birth of their baby, as
after the baby is born, time and baby-sitters could be in short
supply. Please call the parish office to make arrangements. Adults
who wish to be baptized please see RCIA under Religious Education.
CONFIRMATION
Students in grades ten through twelve are eligible for the
Confirmation program. Classes meet Sunday evenings from September
until Confirmation which is sometime in the late winter or spring. In
addition to the weekly meetings, participants perform service hours
and also have a day of recollection and a weekend retreat. Adults who
wish to receive this Sacrament please call the parish office.
MARRIAGE
Preparation for registered parishioners who wish to be married
must begin at least six months before the planned wedding date.
Contact the parish office to make an appointment to begin the
preparations.
RECONCILIATION
Preparation for First Reconciliation is offered to children in
second grade and older. Both the parents and the child attend three
sessions to begin the preparation which is then continued in the
home. Announcements will be made in the parish bulletin prior to the
start of each session. Adults who wish to receive this sacrament for
the first time, please call the parish office. Confessions are
regularly scheduled on the first two Saturdays of the month at 4:00
P.M. or by appointment.
HOLY EUCHARIST
Children in second grade and older may participate in preparation
classes with their parents for the reception of First Holy Communion.
Parents complete the preparation in the home and call the parish
office to arrange for individual family First Communion. The times of
these sessions will be announced in the parish bulletin prior to the
beginning of classes. Adults who wish to receive this sacrament for
the first time, please call the parish office.

church at least twice a year. Anyone who wishes Anointing of the Sick
